Pacific Grove Rental Regulations

Short-term rentals require a city STR permit, Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) payments, and compliance with occupancy and noise ordinances. Enforcement has increased, and operating without a valid permit carries escalating fines. Rent control: Pacific Grove passed its own local ordinance, Measure P, which is separate from California's statewide AB 1482. It has its own rules around allowable annual increases, just-cause eviction requirements, and relocation assistance. If you own a multi-unit property in PG, you need to know whether your units are covered. We do this analysis as part of onboarding. Victorian-era homes often have older systems that require proactive maintenance planning. Our 0% vendor markup policy means you see every repair invoice at cost.
